Noon meal cooks got training from DIET

The noon meal cooks who serve the virtue of their hands along with the taste of the food to the hundreds  of  students in the schools of Kollam district  underwent  an enrichment training conducted  by DIET. The district level inauguration of the programme was held at BRC Chathannoor.

 The programme was inaugurated by Sri Jayalal MLA. DIET Principal Dr.R.Prasannakumar made the welcome speech. Smt Mayasuresh presided over the function. smt Sailaja prem, DIET faculty member  Sri Santhosh kumar made speeches . Dr.Sheejakumari made the vote of thanks.

                    This programme was intended to develop confidence among the cooks, to develop awareness about the things to be observed while cooking, the concept of  safe food, nutritional aspects , etc.This programme was launched in 10 subdistricts of kollam district.In Kottarakkara and Kundara subdistricts, the programme is postponed due to some inconveniences. It will be held without delay.

 The training was an eye opener both for the participants and authorities. The participants  unanimously opined that the training gave them recognition which they so far didnt enjoyed , it gave them confidence as a cook , it gave them awareness about so many things that hey have to care for ensuring safe food to students. They were happy with the training programme.  Feedback from the different subdistricts  show that the programme was effective

. 1980, മുതല്ക്കാണ്  United Nations World Tourism Organization   September 27     ലോക  വിനോദ സഞ്ചാര ദിനം    (World Tourism Day  )ആയി ആഘോഷിച്ചു തുടങ്ങിയത് ഓരോ വർഷവും ഒരു നിശ്ചിത തീം ആധാരമാക്കിയാണ് ഇത് ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നത് . Tourism and Community Development എന്നതാണ് ഇത്തവണത്തെ വിനോദ സഞ്ചാര ദിനത്തിന്റെ തീം

1.വിനോദ സഞ്ചാരം വിവിധ സംസ്ക്കാരങ്ങളെ കുറിച്ച് അറിവ് നല്കുന്നു 
2. അത് വിവിധ സംസ്ക്കാരങ്ങളെ  കൂടിയിണക്കുന്നു 
3.അത് മാനസിക ഉല്ലാസം നല്കുന്നു 
4.ഒരു രാജ്യത്തിന്റെ സമ്പത്ത് ഘടനയെ അത് ഉയർത്തുന്നു 
5.വിവിധസംസ്കാരങ്ങളുമായി പൊരുത്തപ്പെടാനും വൈവിദ്ധ്യങ്ങളെ ഉൾക്കൊള്ളാനും ഉള്ള മനോഭാവം ഉണർത്തുന്നു

Fabulous end to EFECT programme: Govt UPS Padinjattinkara best blogger school

  The district specific innovative programme  of Kollam DIET named EFECT  ( Edublogs For Enhancing Classroom teaching ) First Phase has ended successfully.   Among the schools participated in the EFECT programme,   Govt UPS Padinjattinkara was selected as the best blogger school . All the participant schools were given certifiates and the best blogger school has got a cash award of Rs 1000/  sponsored by
Sri K Kesavan potti, Principal , DIET Kollam and  Merit certificate

                 This programme was launched as a tryout on  12 schools givng training in blogging, constant monitoring and onsite support through which the teachers of the participant schools achieved confidence in blogging. The main objectives of this programme were,
·        to enhance the quality of school education through the use of blogs.·        To explore the prospects of using blogs as  participatory training method,
·       To use school blogs to give feedback to educational officers, to share knowledge and information to the community
·        to give a platform for enhancing creativity of teachers and students
·        to enhance the incorporation of IT in school education,     and to develop professional skills among the teachers .

                               The second phase of the programme will start soon involving more schools

കല്ലുവാതുക്കൽ സ്കൂളിലെ ഹെഡ് മിസ്ട്രസ്സ് ജയ ടീച്ചറിന്റെ ന്റെ പ്രോത്സാഹനവും സംസ്കൃതം അധ്യാപിക ശ്രീമതി കൃഷ്ണകുമാരിയുടെ ഉത്സാഹവും,സഹ അധ്യാപകരുടെ സഹകരണവും കുട്ടികളുടെ പരിശ്രമവും രക്ഷിതാക്കളുടെ സഹായവും ഒത്തു ചേർന്നപ്പോൾ സംസ്കൃതോത്സവം  ഒരു സാംസ്കാരിക മേളനം ആയി

സാംസ്കാരിക ജാഥയ്ക്ക് ശേഷം ഉദ്ഘാടന സമ്മേളനം നടന്നു,പി റ്റി എ പ്രസിഡണ്ട്‌ ശ്രീ സതീശൻ ആധ്യക്ഷം വഹിച് ചടങ്ങ് ഡയറ്റ് ഫാക്കല്ടി അംഗം ഡോ ഷീ ജാകുമാരി ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു . . ഹെഡ് മിസ്ട്രസ്സ് ജയ ടീച്ചർ സ്വാഗതം ആശം സിച്ചു.സംസ്കൃത അധ്യാപനത്തിനായി ജീവിതം ഉഴിഞ്ഞു വച്ച പ്രൊഫ ശ്രീനിവാസനെ ചടങ്ങിൽ പൊന്നാട അണിയിച്ചു ആദരിച്ചു കൃഷ്ണകുമാരി ടീച്ചർ തന്റെ ഗുരു കൂടിയായ അദ്ദേഹത്തിനു ഗുരുദക്ഷിണ ആയി നല്കിയത് സംസ്കൃതത്തിൽ അഭിരുചിയം കഴിവും താത്പര്യവും ഉള്ള ഒരു കൂട്ടം കുട്ടികളെ . ഗുരു ഭക്തിയുടെ നല്ലയൊരു മാതൃക കാട്ടി സംസ്ക്രുതോത്സവത്തെ മൂല്യവത്താക്കിയ കല്ലുവാതുക്കൽ യു പി എസിന് അഭിനന്ദനങ്ങൾ
